Adventures
Sawyer’s month was a whirlwind of change for our family. We began our transition to me going back to work, and Daniel taking over a lot of the baby duties. Then realized that I should be a SAHM (read about that decision here) and things changed again! So now Sawyer is stuck with me 24/7 so that’s a pretty great adventure. Also some of Sawyer’s very best baby friends were born! Her cousin Judah was born, and our sweet friends daughter Haylee was born. We love all the new babies to love on!
Sawyer’s Schedule
Every month seems to bring changes to our sweet girl’s schedule! It seems like as soon as we get used to it she changes and needs more awake time or a longer nap or an earlier bedtime. We’re all just doing the best we can, and this is the schedule that’s worked best for us.
The biggest changes from last month are that we dropped a feeding and a nap!
6:30- wake up & eat 1
The rest of the schedule varies based on exactly what time she wakes up. Anywhere between 6-7 is normal for her.
8:00 to 9:00- nap one
This usually only lasts about 45 minutes!
9:00- eat 2
11:00 to 12 or 1- nap two
This is the part of our schedule that is hit or miss. She always goes down for her naps perfectly fine, but sometimes only sleeps for 45 minutes, then wakes up. Sometimes she goes back to sleep and sometimes she doesn’t which throws the schedule off a little bit.
1:00- eat 3
3:00 to 4:00- nap three
4:00- eat 4
5:00 to 5:30- nap four
This is a catnap or oopsie nap in the car seat. The only point is to help her make it till bedtime without being over tired. This is the first thing to go during month 6!
6:30- bathtime
6:45- eat
7:00- night night!
As always I suggest @takingcarababies if you’re looking for your help getting your little one sleeping better! Now that Sawyer is 5 months we are no longer using the 3-4 month plan with taking cara babies and will be using the ABCs of Sleep. I’ll be sharing a review in a few weeks to let y’all know how it goes.
