Case App // Mom Lounge Set // Bible
Oh girl, mornings are rough. They used to be my favorite time of day because I woke up so well rested, and ready to start the day. Now I was up groggy and exhausted to the sound of my alarm clock, or Sawyer crying. Often times I snooze my alarm even though it's bound to throw off Sawyer's routine for the day. I'm sure there are some moms out there that can relate.
Although I feel utterly useless in those first 10-15 minutes of the morning, I know that the quicker I get our day going the quicker I will feel back to my normal self. Our morning routine is flexible because sometimes we have plans that change things up, or lots of times I just want to sleep in or watch Netflix. All of which are okay in moderation... or for a week or two straight...
Full disclosure: This is my ideal, perfect day, doesn't always happen morning routine. The days it does are the best, and I feel accomplished. So I thought I'd share in hopes that I will make it a more consistent habit.... that lasts longer than two weeks. Anyone else notice that they can stick to something for like two weeks, and then life happens. Yep that's me. So one more time, this is my PERFECT morning that I wish happened more often.
Wake up at 6:00! Sawyer eats first thing in the morning, and is beyond excited to start her day!
When she finishes eating we cuddle in bed for 10-20 minutes so that I can soak up her adorableness.
Since she's so happy this time of day we head to her play room for lots of tummy time and play time.
While she's happily playing by herself I will pump (recently added this in to start storing up for the school year) and read my Bible. If you haven't seen my She Reads Truth Bible, check out this post.

Sawyer goes down for about an hour nap from 8-9, giving me the perfect amount of time for a Tone It Up workout!
When Sawyer wakes up at 9 she eats, we play, and are free to do whatever we want. Sometimes that's get dressed if we have plans, or more play time together. I will miss having such a relaxing start to our days once the school year starts, but I will def share our crazy chaotic routine once I go back to work!
xoxo,
