Adventures

Two months old! She looks twice that age with how big she is. I am so thankful that she is growing so fast, and is as healthy as possible. Her two month appointment consisted of shots that bothered her for a little while, and made her super sleepy. Other than that she is a champ like always!

Sawyer went to her first party at Aunt Megan's house, and learned that the Crowson's know how to FIESTA! It made me really look forward to throwing her birthday party every year. We visited daddy on shift at the fire station, and she got to see the fire truck.

She went out of Texas for the first time, unfortunately it was to Oklahoma. 🤣 We went to some friends cabin on the Red River. Y'all I HAVE to take pictures of their cabin next time we are there. When someone invites you to their cabin you picture an old woodsy cabin... not accurate in their case. It's a beautiful Joanna Gaines inspired masterpiece! I seriously want to move there, except for the whole Oklahoma thing... Anyway, this was Sawyer's first time to go swimming and she was quite fussy because of the heat, but LOVED the water even though it was freezing. We spent Memorial Day swimming at Gammy Isa and Grandpa's Pool, and she just wanted to nap the whole time.

Sawyer also went to her first Life Group, but she still hasn't been to church yet. She just got her two month shots so we may be heading back soon! Our life group also had a pool party and she was so perfectly content in the pool, and in her dockatot next to the pool for nap time. If you haven't read my review on dockatot, check it out here.

She's looking forward to a lot more fun in months three and four! We are headed to Galveston on Monday, and then to Colorado in July.

Eat/Wake/Sleep

We are working through our second merge with Babywise. We are trying to completely get rid of the middle of the night feeding. She's slept through the night a handful of times, but it has been really inconsistent. Instead of just waiting for it to happen I'm now moving her late night feed from 10 to midnight. Once she consistently sleeps through the night from 12-6 then I'll move it back to 11:30, then 11, and eventually she will be sleeping from 10-6 every night. Hopefully that works or I'll go crazy. 🤣
