Sawyer! My sweet baby girl, you made me a mama. I've known that I was called to be a mama for a very long time, but you are the evidence. God put you in my life as a physical reminder of His love, and I'm forever grateful to have you. I am so humbled to be your mama. God created me to be your mom, and you to be my daughter. There was never anyone else who could have filled those spots.
I will cherish the few mother's days we have together before this house is filled with many more babies. I can't wait for the mornings when you bring me breakfast in bed, probably a frozen waffle, and gift me another coffee mug that says "Best Mom Ever". All of the terribly cliche moments, are the memories I am dying to make. I am so happy that you are my first baby. You will be a mama to all your little siblings. You'll cuddle with them, love on them, and remind them to make mama a card every year.

Since Sawyer's not the best gift giver right now, Daniel had this beautiful sign made for our home by one of his high school teachers! Side Note: Who still knows their high school teachers?? That should tell you how loved my husband is because he's AWESOME and always was. Unlike some of us (me) who was despised by most teachers in high school for valid reasons. 🤣🤣🤣
